FAQs

  • Will I get “high” from smoking CBD flower?

CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it won't get you high. It is important to note than our full-spectrum products, including our CBD flower, contain trace amounts of THC—up to .3%.

  • Are hemp pre-rolled joints addictive?

As we all well know, nicotine, the compound found in tobacco that affects the brain, is highly addictive. Withdrawing from nicotine can be an extremely unpleasant process. Hemp, on the other hand, is non-addictive. If you ever decided to quit smoking hemp, you should be able to stop “cold turkey” without a problem.

  • Do hemp pre-rolls contain nicotine?

Rest assured, our hemp pre-rolls do not contain nicotine or other toxic chemical compounds found in tobacco cigarettes. In fact, some of our customers use hemp pre-rolls as an alternative to tobacco products, because they're made from just a single ingredient: organic hemp. No pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals. We use RAW brand organic hemp cones, made from unrefined, pure hemp with no added chalk or dyes. And unlike tobacco, CBD is not addictive, according to a report from the World Health Organization. Others use CBD pre-rolls as an alternative to marijuana joints because CBD does not have the same psychoactive effects as THC.

  • Is it legal to smoke CBD buds?

Half Day CBD flower and other products are made from American-grown, all-natural hemp—no pesticides, herbicides, solvents, or chemical fertilizers. Our products are all regulatory compliant, containing less than 0.3% THC. Every batch is third-party lab-tested to ensure safety and potency.

  • Can pregnant women smoke CBD flower?

Unfortunately, there isn't a definitive answer regarding the safety of taking CBD while pregnant. That's because we've only scratched the surface when it comes to CBD research, which means that we still don't have as many studies on the topic as we would like. As this industry continues to expand and grow, we hope to see some educational research on the subject. Until then, we can't say for certain.

If you are a pregnant woman who wishes to take CBD or maintain an already-existing CBD routine, the first thing that you should do is speak with your doctor.

  • Has CBD oil gotten FDA approval yet?

Meeting FDA approval requires time and money. CBD derived from hemp is a relatively new product on the market. In essence, it hasn’t had the time and investment yet to conduct extensive studies for submission to the FDA and possible approval.

The good news is, there hasn't been any evidence to suggest that CBD in and of itself is unsafe. Basically, the FDA doesn't know yet if CBD will interact with other products, and if those interactions might be harmful to consumers. As the CBD market continues to evolve and has time to grow, the FDA will eventually have the information it needs to approve CBD for official use.
